Sharon Marangoni is a Professional Oral Historian who will tape your loved one's memories for you. She will interview the person while the session is being recorded, either on cassette tape or CD. The interview lasts approximately 4 hours which can be broken up if need be.
Oral history is a huge part of genealogical research. Even after writing was invented in ancient Mesopotamia, most people handed down their family stories verbally. Today, oral history remains a big tradition among Native Americans, South American and African natives, and Austrailian Aboriginal people.
